Tax time is quickly approaching. After paying taxes many of you have a feeling of being used or even robbed by the government. I know the feeling. Why not donate some of your taxable money to a worthy cause that’s deductible? We have established a non-profit 501c3 foundation that’s deductible. This is our mission statement that I’m sure you will find worthy of your tax dollars. 

Hoboken Housing Children’s Foundation’s MISSION STATEMENT

We prefer to see our children play on tennis courts and basketball courts instead of appearing in criminal courts. Sadly, this is what happens to many of our children. Because our children live in a deadly environment of drugs, alcohol and guns. Valiantly many of our children don’t succumb to the environment they are raised in. Many graduates from high school. They involve themselves in sports and karate classes. Unfortunately, a few are involved in the seedy things this deadly environment offers and some die. One of the main reasons some of these bright children get involved in drugs and violence is because they don’t have any other outlets. A gracious lady for years has gotten donations to send a few actually two buses of children to Rye playland near the end of the summer. These children who live and even die in this vicious environment have nothing else except that trip to Rye playland. The city council don’t do anything for them the board of commissioners who are supposed to have their best interest in heart do nothing for them either. So, we have taken it upon ourselves to form a foundation to send these children to summer camps where they can experience and enjoy the outdoors, swim and fish in a freshwater lake. Do outdoor camp activities. Sit around a campfire eating smores and fish baked on an open fire.  As well as various other venues to show them the better side of life and positive things they can get involved in, maybe changing their outlook on life. Also, this foundation sponsor scholarships for those who graduate from high school, to give them a heads up start to their college careers. We will also donate money to local food pantries in the neighborhood that are overlooked by well known organizations that donate money. Children are our natural resource. So, we are striving to provide these innocent children with a chance to prove that they too can be productive in life. This foundation, through your generous donations, will give these children the opportunity to experience the better things in life instead of the seedy side of life the projects offer.
